We arrived home in the early afternoon on May 31st. (Bonnies Birthday).
We left Lorna and Chris' house early Monday morning.
We had a wonderful time during our visit, despite the lousy weather. Lorna, Chris and their daughter Christina made the trip very interesting going to Halls Harbour and the wine tour.
We also saw their son Kevin as he flew in from Manitoba to be home for a week.
On an upscale note, the boys finally won the night of Euchre after loosing the previous 2 nights.
We decided to go home through the states so we crossed at Woodstock New Brunswick into Maine.
From there it was an easy drive on freeways with speeds up to 75 mph.
Only problem was the tolls seemed to crop up every few minutes.
Back to Canada at Niagara Falls and Timmies coffee.
We went 3,915 kilometres in the mini and NEVER had the top down. Bloody weather.
Our next blog will be our trip to Manitoba with Sue and Bob to see Marcella and Wayne.
We leave on June 19th. Hoping for better weather for that trip.
