When we arrived at our Condo, we were amazed to find that the view is so beautiful. Absolutely breathtaking. We have a balcony on each side of our corner unit, so we can sit out and enjoy all the comings and goings at the beach and marina. The Condo is comfortable and we each have a bedroom with an ensuite. We couldn't be more pleased. We took the first day easy, getting re organized and rested. Now for more adventures.
Up bright and early this morning for a bit of exercise.
The first picture is the canoe race. That's us in the lead canoe.
Next we headed out for some surfing. You can see us to the left of the 2nd picture. The 4 of us preparing to catch the big wave.
It's a little hard to spot us as the photographer was back in the condo taking the picture.
A shot of the lights at night from our balcony.
We decided to head for CJ's Bistro for lunch. Should we walk or take a cab? We decided to rough it and walk. After all it is about a quarter of a mile. We finally arrived from our harrowing walk, parched and hungry. A beer or a wine later, we all ordered either corned beef or pastrami on rye.
Now, do we hike back or ride back. Well, the Rainbow Bazaar at the Hilton Hawaiian Village has numerous tourist shops, so the girls decided we would go back a different way. (through the shops of course) So, through the shops we go.
On the way back, we did stop for a couple of pictures, to show how rough the terrain was for our trek home.
In the second picture you can see the girls were falling way behind, so Dan and I had to slow our blistering pace to ensure the girls made it back.
Once back at the condo, it was time to kick back and relax for the rest of the day.
Of course we did need a picture of the sunset. Fot those who read our River Cruise blog you will remember the ABC dealing with the castles and cathederals on the trip.
In the same vein my fellow travellers said "oh another ABS" and I said, you mean another beautiful sunset? The reply was no, another bloody sunset.
Well, here it is regardless.
Anyway, I will continue to show sunsets whether they seem either beautiful or bloody.
Good night, see you tomorrow.
