Shopping, Pool and Dinner

We thought we would do a bit of shopping this morning for Hawaiian souvenirs etc.
So, off we go. Where do you think we went to look for authentic Hawaiian stuff?
The Walmart of course.
Surprisingly, we did find a number of local Hawaiian made shirts and other souvenirs.

Back to the condo for a short rest and off to lunch at the Cinnamon Restaurant on the main floor.

Now it is pool time.
This is the pool taken from our balcony. Bonnie was going to dive in from the balcony, (22 floors up) but I stopped her, telling her the pool was not quite deep enough. What a silly girl! Perhaps she should learn to swim first.

This is a picture of the pool from pool level.

Off to dinner. We decided to go to Sarentos at the top of the Ilikai Hotel for dinner.
Happy Hour was from 5:00 to 6:30 in the bar so we headed up at 5:30.
Our reservation was for 6:30 so we settled in at the bar, to listen to the music, and look out the on the town.

Our table was on the window side with a wonderful view of the city.

This picture is the boys playing jazz while we dined.

If you don't recognize us, this is Dan, Jane, Bonnie and I waiting for our bottle of wine.

You probably thought I forgot to get a picture of the sunset with all that wine and glorious food. Well think again.

Tomorrow we are off on a "circle tour" of the island. Stay tuned.
